北京大学第三医院教育处是医院教育教学工作的管理机构、服务机构和研究机构。教育处采取“四轨合一”的管理模式，负责医学生教育、研究生教育、住院医师规范化培训和毕业后继续医学教育教育工作。近年来我院教学工作取得了显著的成绩，乔杰、段丽萍两位教授荣获北京市教学名师奖，我院青年教师在各级别教学基本功比赛中取得良好成绩，2011年至今获全国青教比赛特等奖2项、一等奖5项。
北京大学第三医院教育处每年承担700余名本科生、500余名研究生、300余名规范化培训的住院医师、1000余名进修医师/护师的教学和培训管理工作。承担以八年制临床医学专业为主的多学科本科医学教育管理工作，负责全院34个博士学位授予点，硕士点，1个临床博士后流动站。北京市住院医师规范化培训专业基地20个,国家住院医师规范化培训重点专业基地1个，国家卫生健康委员会专科医师规范化培训基地3个，北京市住院医师规范培训技能考核中心2个。我院每年接受各类继续教育学员总计近2000人。医院每年举办国家级继续医学教育项目、北京市继续医学教育项目约100项。我院共提供各类继续医学教育项目数百项供职工完成继续医学教育学习，总学时达到2000余学时，参加人数达到70000余人次。其中，网络化教学信息平台的提供的网络化学习10项，至今培训人数约40000人次。
北京大学第三医院教育处为全院提供全面的教学服务，包括多种的教学设施和教学资源。目前管理教室及示教室共12间，总面积达561平方米，全部拥有完备的现代化教学设施。目前，医院教学场地总面积达到1800平方米，包括全系列临床技能培训中心、基于云技术的多媒体教室等，其中临床技能中心包含局部功能训练模型（Part Task Trainer）、计算机交互式训练模型 （Computer Based Trainer）、虚拟现实和触觉感知系统 （Virtual Reality and Haptic System）和生理驱动型模拟系统 （Physiology Driven Simulator）全部模拟教学设备，为全院的人员培训和考核提供服务。同时建立了拥有自主产权的网络化教学管理平台和视频采集系统。教育处拥有自主研发的网络化教学平台，提供自动化办公、网络化课程和网络化考核等多种形式的技术支持。
北京大学第三医院教育处负责全员教学科学研究工作的管理，在课题的申报、审批、运行、结题全过程提供技术和经费方面的服务。

The Education Department is the administration office which delivers management, services and research on medical education in Peking University Third Hospital (PUTH). Based on the “Four Path as One” management pattern, it takes charge of medical education, graduate education, Standardized Resident Training, and continuous medical education. For the past few years, PUTH have gained remarkable teaching achievements. Not only have Professor Jie Qiao and Professor Liping Duan won “Beijing Renowned Teacher Awards”, but also the young teachers have had splendid results in all levels of basic skills competitions, which includes two Grand Prizes and five First Prizes of the “National Young Teacher Awards” since 2011.
The PUTH Education Department assists in cultivating more than 800 undergraduate students, 400 graduate students, 400 resident doctors, and 1600 refresher doctors annually. It is also our responsibility to manage the multidisciplinary undergraduate medical education that centered around the 8-year clinical medicine program. In addition to offering 28 doctor programs and 33 master programs, PUTH has set a postdoctoral research center, 18 standardized training bases for resident doctors, and 2 collaborative training bases. Each year, there are almost 2000 students participating in nearly 100 national level or Beijing municipal continuing learning programs at PUTH. Besides, PUTH has developed hundreds of various continuing learning programs for staff and faculties as well, where the student volume reaches 70,000 and the credit hours adds up to 2,000. Furthermore, there are over 40,000 person-time learning on the 10 programs on the PUTH online teaching platform.
In order to provide comprehensive education services, multiple teaching facilities and instructional resources are well equipped, including 12 classrooms and demonstration rooms for 561 m2 equipped with modern teaching facilities. So far, the total teaching area is 1,800 m2, including a full range of clinical skills training center and cloud-based multimedia classrooms. And the clinical skills training center includes Part Function Trainer, Computer Based Trainer, Virtual Reality and Haptic System, and Physiology Driven Simulator. These new equipment provide services of personnel training and assessment for the entire hospital. Meanwhile, the education department holds the independent property rights on its online teaching management platform and video acquisition system. The online platform was researched and developed independently, satisfying the technical needs like office automation system, online courses, and online assessment.
Further, one other function of the Education Department is to manage educational scientific researches or projects, providing technical and financial supports for topic proposal, project approval, project operation, and research conclusion.
The Education Department has been insisting on imparting knowledge and educating people. We will make arduous efforts to cultivate superior medical talents under the leadership of the party and government leaders of the hospital.
