On the morning of March 21, 2024, Dr. John C. Reed, Executive Vice President of Global R&D at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, visited Peking University Third Hospital. The president of Peking University Third Hospital, prof. Fu Wei, attended the symposium and delivered a welcome speech. Dr. John C. Reed introduced the purpose of his visit. The President Office, Cancer Center, Basic Research Center, and Clinical Trial Institution of Peking University Third Hospital presented the overall situation of the hospital and the relevant work of each platform. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the implementation of global clinical trial schemes, and the opportunities and challenges in the development of gene therapies.
