The scientific research remains the prominent status in our department. An outstanding group has expanded the research field from basic science to clinical practice, as well as the combination of the two aspects.

Our department has taken on numerous National Projects such as ‘Eight. Five’, ‘Nine. Five’, ‘Ten. Five’, ‘211’ items. The Institute of Vascular Medicine is the Key Laboratory in molecular cardiovascular medicine of Education Ministry, and also the important part of Key Laboratory in cardiovascular molecular biology and regulatory peptides of Health Ministry. Furthermore, it is also the leader lab for construction of cardiovascular subjects in ‘211’ project, Peking University.
