Gastroenterology Research Results on Gastric Mucosal Diseases Presented at the 31st United European Gastroenterology Week

From October 14 to 17, 2023, the 31st United European Gastroenterology Week(UEGW) was held in Denmark. Members of the research team led by Professor Ding Shigang from the Department of Gastroenterology at Peking University Third Hospital showcased their academic achievements.

Ning Jing Explains Poster Research Content On-Site


Assistant researcher Fu Weiwei from the Department of Gastroenterology, Peking University Third Hospital, made a presentation titled "Function of CMTM4 in the Process of Helicobacter pylori-Induced Gastric Cancer." PhD student Zheng Huiling presented on "AUF1 Promotes the Development of Helicobacter pylori-Related Gastritis by Inhibiting the Autophagic Degradation of CagA." Postdoctoral researcher Ning Jing, during the poster presentation session, received the Best Abstract Presentation Award. In addition, the submissions by Dr. Guan Xin titled "High Expression of Trx1 in Helicobacter pylori Can Promote the Occurrence of Gastric Mucosal Disease through Upregulating the IL23A/NF-κB/IL-8 Pathway," by postdoctoral researcher Hao Xinyu titled "Establishment of Gastric Cancer Organoids and Screening for Drug Sensitivity to Podophyllotoxin," and by postdoctoral researcher Han Xiurui titled "CMTM4 Inhibits Gastric Cancer Formation and Metastasis through the STAT1 Pathway," were selected for poster exchange at the conference.
