From September 24 to 27, 2023, the 21st Congress of International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT) was held in Norway. Song Zaiwei, the Chief Pharmacist of the Pharmacy Department at Peking University Third Hospital, was invited to attend the conference and engaged in in-depth exchanges with international colleagues.

During the conference, Song Zaiwei delivered a keynote presentation titled "Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Guidelines in the Field of Anticancer: Current Research Status and Advancement Strategies." This research comprehensively reviewed the latest developments in therapeutic drug monitoring guidelines for anticancer medications. Based on methodological and reporting quality assessments, it provided a thorough analysis of these guidelines and proposed strategies to promote the development of therapeutic drug monitoring guidelines in the oncology field. During the congress, posters were presented by Ma Yi, the Chief Pharmacist from the Pharmacy Department, on "Population Pharmacokinetics of Lenalidomide in Chinese Patients with B-Cell Malignancies" and by Pharmacist Liu Shuang on "Clinical Practice Guidelines for Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of Mycophenolic Acid in Solid Organ Transplant Recipients."
