On the afternoon of July 19, 2024, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences held the 2023 China Hospital/Chinese Medical Academy Science and Technology Value (STEM) and the 2019-2023 Five-Year Total Science and Technology Value (ASTEM) release conference. The 2023 China Hospital Science and Technology Value research covered 2,943 tertiary hospitals nationwide. In the 2019-2023 Five-Year Total Science and Technology Value rankings, Peking University Third Hospital ranked 6th overall. In the hospital discipline rankings for the 2019-2023 Five-Year ASTEM, the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of Peking University Third Hospital ranked 2nd, while Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery ranked 4th. In the 2023 China Hospital Science and Technology Value (STEM) rankings, Peking University Third Hospital ranked 7th nationwide. In the 2023 Hospital Discipline STEM rankings, the Obstetrics and Gynecology department ranked 1st, Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery ranked 4th, and Ophthalmology and Anesthesiology ranked 10th.
