临床流行病学研究中心简介

北医三院临床流行病学研究中心成立于1996年，是国内最早成立的集临床科研方法学研究、教学和技术服务为一体的独立科室，属于临床医技科室。在科研院长和科研处的管理下，中心定位为医院科研系统中的横向功能型方法学技术服务和教学平台。中心的发展目标是：具有国际视野、处于国内一流、梯队结构合理、分工相对明确、专业能力精进、优质高效服务。

临床流行病学研究中心在临床研究共性方法和技术方面具有丰富的技术积累和咨询、服务经验，拥有临床研究方法学专业队伍，承担我院首发基金、首都特色基金方法学指导和评审任务，牵头完成一项国家科技支撑计划课题；成为WHO一级研究注册机构（机构（Clinicaltrials.gov）在北医）在北医三院的单位管理员，是国内第一个临床研究方法学博士学位授予点，培养博士3名。

中心致力于为全院医务人员、医学生、研究生和进修生提供科研咨询和服务工作。服务涉及临床研究全过程中的共性方法和共性技术，如临床研究顶层设计、临床研究选题及论证、实施方案设计、随机分组方案设计和随机信封打印、数据库设计和管理、质量控制、统计分析和评价、论文修改完善等。方法学服务形式包括咨询、培训和直接参与研究等。

The Clinical Epidemiology Research Center of Peking University Third Hospital was established in 1996. It is a scientific research unit integrating clinical research methods, technical consulting services, scientific research, and teaching duties. It is the former chairman unit of the Chinese Medical Association Clinical Epidemiology Division and the Beijing Medical Association Clinical Epidemiology Division. It also serves as one of the Beijing Clinical Research Quality Promotion Centers. With extensive research and consulting experience in clinical research methods and techniques, the Clinical Epidemiology Research Center is a well-known clinical research methodology team in China.

Over the years, the center has been committed to providing medical research methods consultation and service such as clinical research topic selection and clinical research standardization, general technical guidance in each stage of clinical research for medical faculty, medical students, graduate students, and advanced students. The central office was relocated to the 5^th floor of the Reproductive Center in August 2014 and set up an independent consulting room which can be used for technical consultant and research space for the whole hospital. Also, the center is responsible for the methodological guidance for the postgraduate dissertation, Capital Special Foundation, and Capital Medical Development Research Foundation application and review.

The center also attaches great importance to the simultaneous development of social services and scientific research and teaching. The center has lead the completion of a national science and technology support project and now is working as the Beijing Clinical Research Quality Promotion Center to participate in the Beijing Municipal Health and Safety Commission project quality control. It is equipped with randomization and random envelope printing system, and also operating a network-based clinical research data management service platform and WeChat public platform (including online statistical analysis, sample size calculation, random group generator), SPSS and PASS software and other technical service platforms. In teaching field, the center undertakes clinical epidemiology/clinical research methodology teaching tasks, including “Study design and implementation of clinical research,” “clinical epidemiology,” “Study design and implementation of scientific research” and other postgraduate courses and national continuing education projects. For quick and easy dissemination of clinical research information, a WeChat public platform (No. bysyrcce, 666) was established in early 2014. A total of 666 original articles and 715 pieces of graphic information were pushed up to the present. The platform has 82,673 followers and becomes the most influential in the field of clinical research methodology and the official popularization platform of the Chinese Medical Association Clinical Epidemiology Division. In 2017, we collected 80 articles of WeChat public account and published "Clinical Research Methods and Practical Skills 1". The "Clinical Research Methods and Practical Skills 2" has been revised and will be published in 2019.

Since August 2018, Professor Zhan Siyan has been hired as the director of the center to comprehensively lead the research and service work of the center. The center participated in the planning and construction of the research platform from 2018. Aiming at the actual demands of clinicians in our hospital, research methodology continuing education courses were designed, and the docking personnel were arranged for each clinical, medical technology department of our hospital, which further expanded the coverage of the methodological service. Through the above measures, the center has laid a solid foundation for further promotion the construction of scientific research platform lowering service thresholds and improving service efficiency.
