Scientific research has yielded fruitful results

Closely combined with clinical rehabilitation, our scientific research has been developing continuously. Since 1992, with the joint efforts of all the staff, we have edited, participated in editing, monographs, translated works and teaching materials, published a total of 203 papers. Participated in national and ministerial projects and won a total of 25 funds. In the past five years, it has obtained 4 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation, 2 national Science and Technology Support plans, 3 science and technology planning projects of Beijing and 1 Natural Science Foundation of Beijing.

Pioneered the integrated orthopedic rehabilitation model and explored the Chinese model of clinical rehabilitation in the acute phase

Our department takes the lead in the country to carry out rehabilitation treatment with a treatment team composed of clinicians, rehabilitation doctors and therapists, and carries out rehabilitation treatment in an integrated mode of clinical and rehabilitation. We will be orthopedic perioperative rehabilitation model summarized as "integrated orthopedic rehabilitation", in the national promotion of this mode of work, rehabilitation colleagues have been recognized, after several generations of efforts to make our department in sports trauma, orthopedic rehabilitation in the leading position in China.

In addition, it carries out scientific research in combination with clinical practice, and carries out a number of orthopedic rehabilitation related projects: the multi-center co-research subject of the major project of Science and Technology plan of Beijing Science and Technology Commission, "Postoperative rehabilitation model and Clinical Pathway Research of common orthopedic diseases in Tertiary hospitals"; "Standardized treatment of Osteoarthritis", a major project of science and Technology plan of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission; A cooperation agreement was signed with the Rick Hansen Institute and the Certification Authority of Canada to conduct a spinal cord injury registry study.

Completed the national key clinical specialty construction project of the Ministry of Health

In 2013, our department was awarded the national Key clinical specialty construction project of the former Ministry of Health. The goal of our project is to build the department of rehabilitation medicine of The Third Hospital of Beijing Medical University into a national rehabilitation medicine demonstration center with domestic first-class and international advanced level. To further develop the national Orthopaedic rehabilitation talent, actively introduce new high-end rehabilitation medical equipment, and his brother departments in-depth cooperation, constantly improve the Orthopaedic rehabilitation common clinical pathway, in order to strengthen the management of rehabilitation treatment quality control, and establish the tertiary rehabilitation service network, and two-way referral hospital affiliated medical couplet body, and in Yanqing CGMH between regular visits, in Haidian campus teaching ward round regularly, strive to become the national rehabilitation services network construction demonstration units.

Entrusted by the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the National Rehabilitation Medical Quality control Center was established

In June 2016, entrusted by the former National Health and Family Planning Commission, our Department set up a National Rehabilitation Medicine Quality Control Center and set up a quality control team to take the place of the government to exercise industrial management functions. The department was officially awarded the certificate in October 2017.Under the leadership of the National Health Commission medical Administration and Hospital Authority, provincial quality control centers and rehabilitation experts in 31 provinces and autonomous regions are organized to formulate relevant systems and technical documents, quality control indicators, standards and quality management requirements for professional medical quality control. To supervise the provincial quality control center to carry out medical quality control; To organize "National Conference on medical Quality Control in rehabilitation Medicine". Our department has successfully completed the national Medical Service and Quality Safety Report 2016, 2017 and 2018 (Rehabilitation Medicine), which has made contributions to further improving the medical quality management and control system suitable for China's national conditions and realizing the continuous improvement of the professional medical quality and medical service level of rehabilitation medicine.

The influence of the department at home and among patients is increasing

Our department has an increasing influence in the academic field of rehabilitation medicine. The Chinese Expert Consensus on the Rehabilitation treatment of Osteoarthritis and the Chinese Expert Consensus on the Rehabilitation Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation, drafted by our department and jointly discussed by domestic orthopaedic rehabilitation experts, were published in 2013 and 2017 respectively, which caused strong repercussions in the field of orthopaedic rehabilitation. The national orthopedic rehabilitation class has been successfully held for 14 sessions.

In March 2015, our department established the WeChat "official platform of rehabilitation medicine for the third hospital of Beijing medical university". 5 platform has been formed semimonthly, each edition of the pattern of the original graphic, theme - "rehabilitation micro assistant", "prevention", "department photo wall", "We Are Family", "" international" zero distance ", propaganda team to all colleagues in manuscripts, adhere to the aim of the service patients, push the high quality articles to help prevent disease and guide the patients' rehabilitation, lead science direction. Since its establishment, the platform has sent more than 140 articles, a total of more than 600 articles, and attracted more than 30,000 followers. It has become a benchmark for the combination of science popularization and publicity in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
