The State Key Research and Development Program "Research on Prevention, Control, and Diagnosis and Treatment Technologies for Degenerative Spinal Diseases in the Elderly" Launches at Peking University Third Hospital

On February 1, 2024, the State Key Research and Development Program project titled "Research on Prevention, Control, and Diagnosis and Treatment Technologies for Degenerative Spinal Diseases in the Elderly," led by Peking University Third Hospital with Professor Li Weishi from the Department of Orthopedics as the project leader, was launched at Peking University Third Hospital.

This project focuses on key technologies in response to population aging against the backdrop of active health, proposing an integrated solution for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of degenerative spinal diseases in the elderly. Through technological empowerment, the project aims to enhance China's capabilities in the prevention, control, and management of degenerative spinal conditions in the elderly.
