On April 26^th, the 3^rd national thoracic spinal stenosis seminar hosted by the spine surgery team of Chinese Orthopaedic Association and Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics and presented by PUTH along with another four hospitals was convoked in Beijing. Professor Cheng Zhongqiang, director of the department of surgery in PUTH presided of the seminar. The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Liu Zhongjun, director of the department of orthopaedics. Professor Liu Xiaoguang, vice-president of our hospital, addressed a speech to the seminar. Professor Chen Zhongqiang gave a theme speech named problems and challenges existing in the clinic diagnosis of the thoracic spinal stenosis. About 200 doctors from all over the nation attended the seminar.
