On the morning of September 14th, the inaugural ceremony of Trauma Center, PUTH, being at the same time the first Trauma Forum of the hospital, was held in Beijing, attended by President Qiao Jie and other hospital leaders as well as society-related leaders.

Being the first one in Beijing, the PUTH Trauma Center has a multidisciplinary team, consisting of 31 doctors from 12 departments, which are Orthopedics, Emergency, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Urological Surgery, Plastic Surgery, ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, stomatology, Anesthesiology and Critical Care Unit.

Consequently, the wards in this center are mostly established in a multi-disciplinary model.
