In the morning of September 9^th, the ward launching ceremony of Peking University Third Hospital Pain Management Department was held at demonstrating classroom in the eleventh floor of NO.2 ward building. The Department of Pain Management opens 30 sickbeds and receives more than 25000 out-patients annually. There are five major sub-specialties in Pain Medicine Center: spine joint pain, neuralgia, cancer pain, pain in the minimally invasive treatment and pain medication and evaluation.
