Jointly sponsored by 12 international surgery and minimally invasive medical research institutions including Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery, SLS the 23rd Annual Meeting and Minimally Invasive Surgical Week was held during September 10^th and 13^th in America. About 600 experts from more than 30 countries joined the meeting, and more than 30 Chinese minimally invasive experts were included. As a representative of the editorial department, the director, Professor Zhang Xiaowei, received the SLS international partner invitation award. The editor, Li Heqiong, delivered a 15-minute special report.
