On August 7^th, National of PRC International Communication and Cooperation Center wrote to PUTH, appreciating PUTH’s high attention and active support on the “Restoration of Light Project (It is a project that helps to treat and give surgery to cataract patients in Africa). They also gave thanks for PUTH’s contribution to improving people’s health of recipient country and strengthening China-Africa health cooperation, in line with our country's overall diplomacy and aid for Africa.

Between June 11 to July 15, National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC sent ophthalmology experts to Botswana to carry out cataract operations. Professor Hao Yansheng and Doctor Zhou Jichao were selected to attend the project on behalf of PUTH and accomplished the mission with perfection.
