On October 22nd, following the arrangement of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, Eight aiding-Tibet mobile medical experts of PUTH returned in triumph after successfully completing the tour of medical missions which lasted more than a month. Wang Jianquan, vice president of PUTH, welcomed all the heroes at the airport.

During the 35 days, the mobile medical team completed a total of 1490 outpatient visits, 67 emergency room visits, 14 operations, 58 teaching rounds, 53 departments and hospital joint consultations, 32 difficult cases discussion. They rescued 12 people, performed 430 free medical consultations, helped the other hospitals launch five new technology and business, held 54 thematic lectures, performed 2 operation/ invasive operation demonstration and trained 1320 people. Also, they helped the other hospital formulate or revise more than 120 copies of rules and regulations, developed or revised more than 40 copies of the routine of diagnosis and treatment, and declared two research projects. In the end, they completed the mobile medical tasks successfully.

On September 16th, Song Shibing, director of department of general surgery; Zhou Qingtao, deputy director of department of respiratory medicine; Li Xiaoguang, deputy director of department of infectious diseases; Chang Yanmei, deputy director of department of pediatrics; Han Bin, deputy director of department of anesthesia; Wang Chen, attending physician of department of endocrinology; Ge Qinggang, deputy director of department of medical affairs; Xu Xuedong, standing deputy director of department of medical affairs; and Xu Ruifeng, head nurse of department of orthopedics went to Tibet as aiding-Tibet mobile medical experts.
