On November 24th, PUTH was awarded as outstanding unit and outstanding volunteer in the “Create China Hearts-Uniting trip to Aba” summary commendation congress entitled with “the Doctor of China”. In this public welfare project,14 children received treatment in PUTH. Leaders of PUTH attached great importance to the treatment for children with congenital heart disease in the Project. In order to guarantee the smooth progress of the treatment, plenty of clinical and functional departments were involved in working and coordinating meetings, during which 6 consultations were held internally and interactively. It took half a million yuan to buy equipment and supplies for the surgeries.
