African Health System Delegation Visits Peking University Third Hospital

On the afternoon of August 10, 2024, a delegation from the health system of Algeria and Senegal visited Peking University Third Hospital. During the meeting, Ms. Yang Li, Deputy Party Secretary of the hospital, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the hospital. Mr. Lyes Rahal, Director of the Health Services of the Algerian Ministry of Health, expressed sincere gratitude for China's selfless contributions to medical aid in Africa over the past years. Ms. ABIBOU NDIAYE, a representative of the Senegalese Ministry of Health, conveyed her desire to further deepen medical cooperation between China and Africa, as well as jointly tackle global health challenges. Representatives from various departments of Peking University Third Hospital provided an overview of the hospital, emphasizing its distinct characteristics and advancements in smart hospital construction. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussion on medical technology support and talent development.
