Four Projects Led by Peking University Third Hospital Win the 2023 Beijing Medical Science and Technology Award

On July 3, 2024, the Beijing Medical Association announced the "Decision of the Beijing Medical Association on the 2023 Beijing Medical Science and Technology Awards." The project "Establishment and Promotion of Key Mechanisms and Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies for Cardiovascular Diseases Caused by Thyroid Metabolic Disorders," completed by Professor Tang Yida’s team from the Department of Cardiology at Peking University Third Hospital, won the Special Prize of the Beijing Medical Science and Technology Award. The project "Innovation and Clinical Application of In Vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer Laboratory Techniques," completed by Professor Liu Ping’s team from the Department of Reproductive Medicine, won the Second Prize. The project "Experts Explain the Secrets of Reproduction," completed by Academician Qiao Jie’s team, won the Science Popularization Award. The project "Construction and Demonstration Application of a Four-Level Anesthesia Quality Control System Based on an Intelligent Data System Covering Municipality-District-Hospital-Department," completed by Professor Guo Xiangyang’s team from the Department of Anesthesiology, won the only Health Management Award.

This year, the Beijing Medical Association awarded a total of 27 projects, including 1 Special Prize, 7 First Prizes, 15 Second Prizes, 1 Health Management Award, and 3 Science Popularization Awards.
