On May 31, 2024, the inauguration ceremony of the Chinese Hospital Rehabilitation Medicine Consortiumwas held in Chengdu, organized by the Medical Consortium Working Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association and hosted by Peking University Third Hospital, Peking University Third Hospital  is the chair unit of the Chinese Hospital Rehabilitation Medicine Consortiumwith Cui Guoqing, Director of the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, as the first director, and Liu Nan, Deputy Director, as the secretary-general of the consortium.

Jin Changxiao, Vice President of the Chinese Hospital Association and Secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University Third Hospital; Peng Mingqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine; Li Rong, Vice President of Peking University Third Hospital; Dong Erdan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of the University of Rehabilitation; and Zhou Mouwang, Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Peking University Health Science Center, attended the event and delivered speeches.
