第二门诊部是北京大学第三医院执业机构之一，成立于1997年9月，是一所集社区卫生服务、门诊医疗、教学、科研为一体的综合门诊部。普通门诊包括全科、内科、外科、儿科、妇产科、口腔科、皮肤科、耳鼻喉科、中医科、中医针灸科和预防保健科。第二门诊部同时设有心内科、内分泌科、神经内科、骨科、妇产科、皮肤科、中医科专家门诊。医技科室有检验科、放射科、心电图、彩超、脑血流图，可以完成对患者常见病的常规检查。患者如需做CT、核磁等特殊检查项目，可在第二门诊部对高血压、糖尿病、脑卒中、冠心病的患者开特殊检查，去北医三院预约检查即可。
截止到2024年8月，27年来，第二门诊部在医、教、研、公共卫生服务、科室文化建设方面得到突飞猛进的发展。目前有在职医务人员79人，其中20人从事社区公共卫生服务工作，包括全科医生8名，护士3名，3名中医科医生，6名预防保健人员，秉承北医三院“病人至上”的宗旨，“团结、奉献、求实、创新”的院训，“病人信任、员工爱戴、同行尊重、社会认可”的办院理念，大力倡导健康管理理念，普及健康生活方式知识。第二门诊部由专门的全科医生、护士、中医医生组成慢病管理团队，定期为社区慢病患者进行随访和组织形式多样的健康促进活动，全科加专科特色社区服务让社区居民受益匪浅，得到了广大患者的认可和社会的赞誉，年门诊量达二十万人次。
近几年，第二门诊部科研教学发展迅猛。科研方面，第二门诊部先后参与了WHO初级卫生保健中的患者安全（WHO患者安全基金资助）课题、国家自然科学基金和北京市自然科学基金；积极开展社区慢性病、常见病、多发病、公共卫生管理等调研活动，核心期刊发表文章数量逐年递增。目前中心拥有一支综合素质高、业务能力强的全科教学教师队伍，承担着北京市全科医师、北大医学部临床医学系和公共卫生学院本科生的社区实习带教工作。2008年，第二门诊部被评为北京市全科医师社区培训基地，2011年，又成为北医三院全科医学教研室的教学和实习基地。第二门诊部未来发展方向是以社区临床实践支撑科研和教学，再以科研和教学活动发展临床实践，努力拼搏，追求全科医学社区领域的“高、精、尖”，为中国的全科医学发展做出贡献。

Established in September 1997, the Second Department for Outpatient Care (SDOC) of Peking University Third Hospital (PUH) is a leading institution in community medical care in China. The SDOC also offers specialist clinics in cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, orthopedics, and gynecology, dermatology, and TCM. These clinics provide specialized care for patients with specific health conditions.Patients who need further examinations such as CT and MRI can get a referral from the SDOC and make an appointment at PUTH.
