Department of Dermatology of Peking University Third Hospital was established in 1958. There are 14 professors, 10 chief attending physicians, 4 residents as well as 12 postgraduate students. We have a strong team involved in medicine, education and research. We are especially expertized in immune-related skin diseases, contact dermatitis , allergic skin diseases , Sexually transmitted diseases ,Connective Tissue diseases, psoriasis and fungus diseases. Various allergens can be detected by patch test ,test of allergen in vitro .Now treatment methods such as PUVA for psoriasis , vitiligo , and chronic eczema; autologous epidermal transplantation for vitiligo; pulse laser for Nevus of Ota, Hemangioma and other pigmentosa and vessel diseases fulfil demands of all patients. We set up the Skin and STD center of Peking University in 2001.
